We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our educational team. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with certified teachers to support classroom instruction, assist students with special needs, and help maintain a positive and productive learning environment. This role is essential in ensuring that all students receive the attention and support they need to succeed academically and socially.
Paraprofessionals play a vital role in the daily operations of schools by providing instructional support, supervising students, and assisting with classroom management. You may work one-on-one with students who require additional help, support small groups, or assist the entire class. Your responsibilities may also include helping with lesson preparation, grading assignments, and managing classroom materials.
In addition to academic support, Paraprofessionals often assist students with physical or behavioral challenges, helping them navigate their school day with confidence and dignity. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure that each student’s unique needs are met.
This position requires patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is highly valued.
